Bea
The first 12 raised beds were built and planted at Sage Hill in 2003…all commercial transactions were halted in November of 2018…..

I’ve adjusted on paper…the mind and body however seems to have over-looked the memo!!

A new routine, less demands, more time to wander, explore and play….

So, why do I feel a wee bit lost…..

Updates to come!!  There is family food to grow….a home updating to complete and a plethora of day trips to make…. hmmm….

Transitions are exciting and confusing at the same time. Turning a big boat in a narrow inlet takes awhile…but it will be fun seeing life from the different view.

Love the way you put that Joanne…thank you…I am ready for the challenge …whatever it evolves into. Trusting in the Lord to keep me in the boat until I stabilize!

I’m looking forward to hearing about the next chapter in your life, Bea. I had a difficult time adjusting when I retired (required for medical reasons). I think we sometimes feel that our jobs define us (or at least a part of us), and we go through a grieving period when we “lose” that. But knowing you, you will come up with something exciting and fulfilling. XOXO

Michele, this is my second retirement, first time around I was lost for a long time…..working with children gets in the blood…I still miss it ways and on certain days…but, there is a season for every thing…hopefully I will stay in-tune….

I certainly plan to keep it exciting!! Look forward to your coming along!! Thank you for your lovely friendship.

      Hi Michele,

      Guess I over-looked your post earlier…so sorry!

I totally agree with you about our jobs defining us….and actually to a large degree, rightfully so. To be good at and successful with…one has to become very much meshed with the task…we are what we eat, what we wear and I think what we do…especially if we are passionate about it.
I’m slowly finding my new niche! Thanks for reading and responding!
